S.S. Streamboat week 13 edition

Most leagues will have their playoffs starting in week 14. This means that there is one more opportunity for streamers to catapult you into the fantasy playoffs. If you’re already in the playoffs, congratulations and good luck. If you’re struggling with injuries and bye week replacements, below are some players that I think can bring a week winning performance.

All players are owned in 60% or less of Yahoo leagues.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Miami Dolphins (20%)

VS. Cincinnati Bengals

This is obviously a caveat to Tua not playing but I think his thumb injury on top of recent play might have them lean towards Fitzpatrick again. Coming off a cool 257 yards and two touchdowns against the Jets Fitzpatrick has now had at least 22 points in six of his last seven starts. He looks to stay hot against the Cincinnati Bengals who really just could not do anything last week against the Giants. With Myles Gaskin possibly still be out Miami has not really found a replacement so I see Fitzpatrick taking the reigns on this one.

Benny Snell, Pittsburgh Steelers (36%)

VS. Washington Football Team

Benny Snell has a real opportunity to earn himself a bigger workload as impending free agent James Conner may still be sitting due to covid-19. Coming off a 19 touch performance against the Ravens on Wednesday Snell racked up 93 yards and should see another heavy workload against the Washington football team hoping to keep pace in week 13.

Allen Lazard, Green Bay Packers (39%)

VS. Philadelphia Eagles

Allen Lazard caught a TD last week in his second game back since week three. This now gives him three touchdowns in the five games that he has played and the chemistry between him and Rogers is trending back up. He only played 46% of snaps last week but I think that was due to their large lead so early and not needing him. They face a Philadelphia Eagles defense this week that has surprisingly been good against wide receivers this season as only three have topped 100 yards. DK Metcalf had 177 last week and I think Philadelphia is going to try to shut down Davante Adams which could open the game up more for him.

Trey Burton, Indianapolis Colts (20%)

@Houston Texans

In a season with so much uncertainty you would think relying on at least five tight ends this season would be possible, unfortunately that’s not the case. The tight end position is just putting up an absolute dud this season, you really have had to do some digging. If you can catch a touchdown you are a sure fire tight end one, enter Trey Burton. He is back to being Philip Rivers favorite tight end again with having at least four targets in all but one game this season. Houston gives up the third most yards to the tight end position and DeShaun Watson will make sure this game doesn’t stay low scoring. In the past two weeks Rivers has thrown five touchdowns, two of them have gone to Trey Burton. With the Colts scoring 26 points in four of their last five games and possibly no Jonathan Taylor, I think they’ll need to do that again with some help from Burton.
